Terms & Conditions

By purchasing products from 8Required, the customer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

Products sold by 8Required are supplied in the condition received from authorized manufacturers, importers, distributors, or approved suppliers.

Customers are responsible for verifying product suitability, specifications, approvals, viscosity grades, quantities, and intended applications before purchase and use.

The customer is solely responsible for:

• Verifying vehicle and equipment requirements.

• Confirming product compatibility.

• Following manufacturer specifications.

• Following recommended service intervals.

• Maintaining proper fluid levels.

• Proper storage, handling, and use of products.

Any recommendation, guidance, technical advice, or product suggestion provided by 8Required is based solely on information supplied by the customer and shall not constitute a guarantee of suitability, compatibility, performance, fuel economy, emissions compliance, or mechanical outcome.

8Required is not responsible for errors, omissions, negligence, workmanship defects, improper installation, incorrect service procedures, contamination, overfilling, underfilling, incorrect torque specifications, or any work performed by mechanics, workshops, technicians, fleet operators, or third-party service providers.

Additives are intended to supplement vehicle maintenance and are not represented as repairs, fixes, cures, or guarantees for existing mechanical faults.

8Required makes no representation that any additive will repair, restore, eliminate, prevent, or correct existing mechanical, electrical, fuel system, lubrication system, transmission, or engine defects.

8Required shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from pre-existing wear, defects, poor maintenance, sludge accumulation, contamination, overheating, excessive oil consumption, neglected service intervals, engine deposits, component fatigue, or any condition existing before product installation or use.

Risk in products passes to the customer upon delivery and acceptance.

Customers shall inspect products immediately upon receipt and report shortages, leaks, damage, or discrepancies within twenty-four (24) hours.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 8Required shall not be liable for:

• Engine damage

• Gearbox damage

• Differential damage

• Turbocharger damage

• Mechanical failures

• Labour charges

• Diagnostic costs

• Towing expenses

• Rental vehicle expenses

• Business interruption

• Loss of income

• Loss of profits

• Consequential or indirect damages

The maximum liability of 8Required for any claim shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product concerned.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any dispute arising from products sold by 8Required shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
